Christina Howell Executive Director Christina’s work in community development includes positions at Community Design Center of Pittsburgh (now Design Center) and Mt. Washington Community Development Corporation. With BDC since 2014, she also worked in commercial real estate and in public relations at both the State Museum of Harrisburg and the Senator John Heinz History Center. Currently, Christina serves as Treasurer on the Baum Centre Initiative. A three-year alumnus of AmeriCorps, Christina graduated from Duquesne University and lives with her family in Bloomfield. |

Michele Goldammer Finance Manager After working as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) for a significant period, Michele, moved into nonprofit work where she serves as Finance Manager for the Community Benefit Organization (CBO) Collaborative. Formed in 2016, the CBO Collaborative consists of Bloomfield Development Corp, Lawrenceville Corp, Lawrenceville United, and Strip District Neighbors. Michele joined the Collaborative in January 2018 and resides in the Hazelwood neighborhood. |

Sam Spearing Business District Coordinator PULSE Fellow Sam Spearing, a native of Holtwood, Pennsylvania, completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh with a major in Political Science and a minor in History. During his time at Pitt, he co-founded the Pitt Progressives Organization and was a swim coach for the Southern End Community Association. He also served as a Deputy Fellow Manager for Sara Innamorato for State Representative and a Campaign Fellow for Summer Lee for State Representative. In his free time, Sam enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and knitting. He is a part of the East End cohort, and is serving at Bloomfield Development Corporation through July 2019. |

Abi Gildea Program Coordinator Bloomfield Saturday Market Abi is the Program Coordinator of the Bloomfield Saturday Market. She recently graduated from Point Park University with a bachelor’s degree in Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Management and a minor in Multimedia. Abi has worked with other organizations such as City of Asylum and Tobacco Free Allegheny. She is a Pittsburgh native and wants to dedicate her career to helping the city and its residents flourish. If Abi isn’t at work, you can see her at a local show or asking to pet someone’s dog. |

Max Hill Market Assistant Prior to joining BDC in September 2018, Max worked at Repair the World as as Team Lead of the Food Justice Fellow program. His experience in both farming and social media production are being put to good use in his role coordinating social media and volunteers for the Bloomfield Saturday Market program. A graduate of Tulane University with a history and psychology degree, Max is interested in food justice and advocacy. |

Jess Cook Housing Specialist A resident of Bloomfield, Jess became interested in BDC's housing work in February 2018 during a community process for new development. Since then, she has volunteered her time consistently to help identify Bloomfield's specific housing issues as well as develop BDC's housing program. A veteran of the hospitality industry, Jess is finishing her Urban Studies degree at University of Pittsburgh. |
